$4.00

A band called The Beatles formed in England and quickly became popular all over the world in 1960. When teenagers in the United States heard their music, they went bonkers for it! It was like a "mania" for the Beatles. They were a band that changed the music scene in a very big way. They were the best-selling band in the world! And it all started with two best friends who loved American rhythm & blues music.

With that fame and influence comes lots of Beatles fans who wanted to buy merchandise like T-shirts, lunch boxes, pillow cases, stickers, shampoo, games, toys, and buttons. Fans who went bonkers for the music and the merchandise caused something called Beatlemania! For this project, students create a fictitious band and design merch for it.
