David Bowie Lesson Plan

$4.00

David Jones was a shy boy who loved music and performance art. He wanted very badly to become a star, but he would get very nervous in front of audiences... until he put on a costume. By becoming another identity, just like putting on a Halloween costume, he wasn’t so shy anymore, and so he kept changing, mixing what people call “boy things” and “girl things.” He created another identity which helped him become a very famous rock star.

Students design an outrageous outfit for David, using an image of him posing as a starting point. There's plenty of space around him to create a wild and avant garde look.
